What airports do you serve?
My local service area includes Reno-Tahoe International Airport (KRNO), Reno-Stead Airport (KRTS), Carson City Airport (KCXP), Minden-Tahoe Airport (KMEV), Truckee-Tahoe Airport (KTRK), and Lake Tahoe Airport (KTVL).
Can you provide training at my home airport?
Training in the Reno, NV area is preferred, but I can travel to your location to provide flight training for an additional rate of $250/day plus travel expenses.
Do I need to own a plane to work with you?
No. I work with both airplane owners and renters. If you don’t own an airplane, you have the option of renting an aircraft through Biggest Little Flight School in Reno, NV.
What aircraft can you instruct in?
I can provide training in any FAA registered single engine piston or turboprop aircraft with tires. No sea planes or multi-engine aircraft.
What is the time commitment?
The timeline to complete both private and instrument training is generally 3-6 months, depending on lesson frequency.
How does the payment process work?
I accept payment via Zelle, Venmo, cash, or check.
Private Pilot & Instrument Rating: Payment is due in full upon the completion of each lesson.
3-day courses: A 50% deposit is required to reserve your date and the remaining 50% is due 7 days prior to training.
Single day courses: Payment is due in full upon training completion.
Am I going to have to add you to my aircraft’s insurance policy?
Yes, I will either need to be a named insured on your policy or receive a waiver of subrogation from your insurance company.
