Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of tahoeflightacademy.com (the “Site”), operated by Tahoe Flight Academy LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is informational

The Site describes flight instruction services offered in Reno, Nevada and the surrounding region. Nothing on the Site constitutes a binding offer to provide flight instruction, and nothing on the Site creates a training agreement between us.

Any flight instruction we provide is governed by a separate agreement made directly between you and Tahoe Flight Academy LLC at the time training is arranged. Where that agreement and the Site differ, the agreement controls.

Pricing and availability

Rates, course lengths, and program details shown on the Site are current estimates and may change without notice. Rates quoted cover flight instruction only. Aircraft rental, fuel, examiner fees, testing fees, and travel costs are separate unless expressly stated otherwise in writing. Scheduling is subject to instructor availability, aircraft availability, weather, and airworthiness.

Not a substitute for regulatory guidance

Aviation content on the Site is general in nature and provided for informational purposes. It is not flight instruction, and it is not a substitute for current Federal Aviation Regulations, official FAA publications, aircraft flight manuals, or in-person instruction from a qualified flight instructor.

As pilot in command, you remain solely responsible for the safe and lawful operation of any aircraft, and for compliance with all applicable regulations. Do not rely on the Site for operational decisions.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Site for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain access to non-public areas of the Site or its infrastructure; interfere with or disrupt the Site; use automated systems to scrape or harvest content or contact information; or misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us through the Site.

Content and intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, and the Tahoe Flight Academy name and badge, is owned by Tahoe Flight Academy LLC or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, or use our content or marks for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Testimonials appearing on the Site are published with the consent of the clients who provided them and reflect their individual experiences. Results vary by pilot, aircraft, and circumstances.

Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites, including flying clubs, aircraft rental operators, and other aviation resources. We provide these links for convenience. We do not control those sites, do not endorse their content, and are not responsible for their practices or the services they provide. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and that third party.

Communications

When you submit an inquiry through the Site, you consent to be contacted by phone, text message, or email regarding your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by telling us to stop. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the information you provide.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content is accurate, complete, or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tahoe Flight Academy LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site. Our total liability arising from your use of the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

This section limits liability arising from use of the Site only. It does not limit, and is not intended to limit, any liability arising from flight instruction services, which is addressed in the separate training agreement.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tahoe Flight Academy LLC and its members, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washoe County, Nevada, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
